Heart Saver AED will teach the techniques of CPR coupled with the use of the Automated External Defibrillator. The department received a donation to purchase six new AED trainers and materials to aid in the training of our citizens in this life saving technique.

The City of Two Rivers Fire Department offers CPR courses on a monthly basis, alternating between BLS and HS. BLS courses are held every other month, with HS courses offered in the alternating months.

* Hands-on skills test - The City of Two Rivers Fire Department offers hands-on skills tests for both HS and BLS classes on the 1st and 3rd Wednesdays of each month, except when those dates fall on a holiday.

These skills tests are available only after successful completion of the required online course, which must be taken through the American Heart Association at www.onlineaha.org. Please note, there is a separate fee for the online course as well as for the Fire Department’s hands-on skills test.

You must call ahead to reserve your spot for both courses and skills tests.
