Getting Started

Whether you simply want to learn the benefits of adding an energy system to your home or business or you’re ready to make an investment in solar energy or battery storage, it’s often difficult to know how to begin.

Connect with us early in your planning process. We can offer guidance and answer questions about available incentives, necessary documents, and your installation plans. We aren’t associated with any installers and recommend that you get multiple quotes before moving forward. Feel free to reach out if you’d like our help in reviewing any quotes.

Submitting an Application

All interconnection applications must be submitted for approval prior to any work being started. Before you start, please have:

• A system diagram (showing your equipment, meters, and disconnect switch if required)
• A site plan (showing equipment locations and your system’s address)
• Proof of insurance
• Equipment certification or compliance documents
• Manufacturer specification sheets

Required Forms

• Standard Distributed Generation Application (Form 6031)
• Supplement for Solar, Energy Storage, Wind, or Generator (as needed)
• Interconnection Agreement

Change of Ownership

If you are moving into a property that has an existing energy system, like rooftop solar, please complete this form and return it to us.
