Creation of Best Beach mural in time-lapse

Artist Austin Ohm standing in front of a mural in progress

Seattle-based artist Austin Ohm painted a mural here last August beautifully depicting the "Best Beach in Wisconsin" (Neshotah, of course).

The 8’ x 35′ piece was transferred onto the wall of a Neshotah Park structure using a digital projector. Ohm then spent about 36 hours filling in the design with spray and latex paints.

He recently released a time-lapse video of his work in Two Rivers.

Upon completion of the Neshotah project, the artist's next stop was Door County, where he created a rainbow dragon mural for Hands On Art Studio in Fish Creek.

Ohm and his wife, Emily Scali, own Gridless Studio, which offers classes and workshops in art, gardening and yoga in a "South Seattle urban oasis."
