Spring Opening Weekend @ Pinecrest

Saturday, May 3, 2025 - 10:00am to 4:00pm

Two lambs standing behind a fence.

Chat with knowledgeable costumed interpreters who keep the stories of the past alive. Hear the clanging of the blacksmith’s hammer, smell the aroma of fresh-baked treats, and truly experience life in the 19th century. Interpreters—including cooks and craftspeople—demonstrate their talents from 10-2.

At 11 and 12:30: Watch a sheep shearing demonstration at the Meeme Livery. Grab a pair of hand-clippers and do your own trimming on practice fleece.

Get further hands-on experiences by picking, washing and helping transform the wool into yarn.
