Book to Art Club: Mimi Lee Gets a Clue
Meet to discuss Mimi Lee Gets a Clue by Jennifer J. Chow and share art.
Mimi Lee has just opened her Los Angeles pet grooming business, Hollywoof, and is juggling more than she can handle—a meddling mother, demanding clients, and a talking cat named Marshmallow with plenty of opinions. Trouble begins when Marshmallow alerts Mimi to the mistreatment of dogs by local breeder Russ Nolan. After Mimi confronts him, Russ turns up dead, and she becomes the police’s prime suspect. To clear her name, Mimi teams up with her lawyer neighbor, Josh, and her sharp-tongued feline companion to uncover secrets and find the real killer before her new venture—and her freedom—go up in smoke.
