Write-in

A poetry write-in at Woodland Dunes offered by Fresh Water Press.
Read and discuss nature poetry of significant American poets including Naomi Shihab Nye, Kimberly Blaeser and James Wright, among others. Each monthly session differs slightly in focus; for example, examine poems about a single life form, such as trees or birds; consider Japanese forms; write a group poem; or explore themes of nature and society.
Sessions include time for writing; bring a journal or notebook and your favorite writing implement. Sharing your work is optional, but welcome. Sessions are meant for all levels of experience.
