Wisconsin Carp Championship
16th annual tournament.
Anglers from across the country compete in this sanctioned tournament. Visit spots on the East & West Twin rivers to see world-class carp anglers compete for state championship in this catch-and-release event.
An anglers' meet-and-greet is scheduled Friday, May 30; meet 5-7 p.m. at Whisky D's (1215 26th Street).
Information for competitors:
Anglers must be 18+ and hold a valid Wisconsin fishing license. Entry fee is $350 per angler. Total must be paid by check on or before May 19, or in cash at the meet-and-greet on Friday. Payments can also be made via PayPal.
This is a “Big 5” event: Only the five largest fish caught over the two days of the tournament will count towards the angler’s final weight.
Peg drawing is 6 a.m. Saturday at Veterans Park (1520 17th Street).
