Two Rivers Brand Ambassador Workshop
Civic Brand CEO Ryan Short explains how community members can become "Two Rivers Brand Ambassadors." Learn how to share the story of Two Rivers and all that's great about it.
Two workshops are scheduled: 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. Registration is not required and there is no fee.
Short writes: A brand ambassador helps bring the city’s brand to life through everyday actions, communication, and leadership. Rather than simply promoting a logo or slogan, brand ambassadors model the spirit and values of the community. They help tell the city’s story, welcome visitors, support local businesses and events, and look for ways to reinforce what makes the place unique. While city government can help steward and communicate the brand, it is not owned by any single organization. A city’s brand is ultimately shaped by the people who live, work, and invest there. Residents, business owners, community groups, and local institutions all play a role. When people consistently represent the brand in how they speak about the community, support local initiatives, and create positive experiences for others, they help build stronger civic pride, a clearer identity, and a more unified sense of place.
