Native Seed Collection

Part of the Adult Learning Series. Fee is on a sliding scale fee of $3-$10 per person, collected at check-in.
The WD land manager tells about native seed collection then leads an excursion outside to the prairie where the group will identify, collect and process some of the native prairie species. Learn about the different kinds of stratification requirements native seeds might have and how to best grow them into young plants for your own native pollinator garden. Space is limited, bring garden gloves (some available to borrow).
