Hamilton Site Redevelopment Idea Session
Share ideas and visions for the potential redevelopment of the 14-acre Hamilton Industries site. Meet in City Council Chambers on the third floor.
Scheduled public meetings:
- July 15 | 5:30–7 p.m. | Two Rivers City Hall Council Chambers
- July 21 | 6–7:30 p.m. | Koska Room in the J.E. Hamilton Community House
- Aug. 5 | 5:30–7 p.m. | Lester Public Library (fireplace area)
As formally stated by the city:
The City of Two Rivers invites you to attend the first public listening session since three new concept plans for the future redevelopment of the former Hamilton property were revealed. We know there has been a lot of chatter on social media. This is your chance to get accurate information, hear the facts, and participate in a respectful community conversation with the actual design professionals. Whether you're excited about the possibilities, concerned about what may come next, or simply curious about the concepts, this is your opportunity to hear directly from the City's planning and design team, ask questions, and share your ideas.
We'll discuss:
- The redevelopment concepts created from community input
- The vision for housing, parks, businesses, and public spaces
- Why the City is planning for a property it doesn't yet own
- What happens next in the redevelopment process
Residents are asked to fill out a survey by Aug. 14.
