Fall Migration Bird Walk

Saturday, September 12, 2026 - 9:00am

Images of three different types of birds.

Northeast Wisconsin Bird Alliance board member Edwin Wilke hosts a casual encounter with birds. September is a great time to experience fall migration, including various warblers and sparrows.

Expect to walk about one mile with periodic stopping points. The trails are gravel with some gradual hills and periodic benches available for breaks. Bring sturdy footwear, snacks, water, and sunscreen and of course, binoculars! A few pairs will be available to borrow. There is no charge for this excursion.

BONUS: Barnwood Coffee will be selling its bird-friendly coffee from 8 a.m. to noon.
