Dunes' Digest: Hiking the Ice Age Trail
A Lunch & Learn event at Woodland Dunes: an hour of nature knowledge with a different topic and presenter each month. Bring your lunch; coffee, tea, water and a sweet treat are provided.
LuAnn Lonergan is a registered nurse and former nurse educator who lives in Kiel. She recently completed her second segment hike of the Ice Age National Scenic Trail and self-published a book about her adventure, Oh Beautiful Blaze: Ice Age Trail Musings. LuAnn shares her original artwork and nature-inspired haikus, along with some tips and funny stories. Her autographed book will be available for $15.
