Meet to discuss a great book the first Wednesday of each month. The September selection is: El Paso: Five Families and 100 Years of Blood, Migration, Race and Memory by Jazmine Ulloa. The book traces a century of immigration, shifting political laws, and border violence—sparked by the author’s reporting on the 2019 Walmart mass shooting.

Oct. 7 selection: What We Can Know by Ian McEwan.
